FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• How many fields are at Petrovitsky?

There are four (4) baseball fields at Petrovitsky Park

 

 

• Is there a dirt infield at Petrovitsky?

All of the fields at Petrovitsky have a dirt infield and a grass outfield.

• Do any of the fields have a mound?

Yes.  Field 1 has a mound.  If possible, the 11u and 12u division are rotated through this field (this depends on how many teams are in each division).

• At what distance is the pitching rubber?

 The pitching rubber is at 46 feet for all four (4) fields.

• Are there bathrooms?

Yes.  There are public restrooms at the entrance of the baseball complex.  Park staff is on hand for the duration of the tournament to clean the facilities and stock supplies

 

• Are pets allowed?

No.  Pets are allowed at the park, but not inside the baseball complex

 

• Is there an area to bar b que?

Yes.  There is a designated area outside of the baseball complex to bar b que as well as a picnic area

 

• Are there lights?

Yes.  There are lights for each field.  We've had GREAT night games at these fields

 

• Are there fences?

Yes.  There are fences for each field.  Field 1 has a fence at 320 feet.  Field 2, 3, & 4 have fences at 285 feet.

 

• Are the dug outs covered?

Yes.  But only Fields 1 & 2 have covered dug outs.  Fields 3 & 4 do not have covered dug outs

 

• Is there a park for siblings/family/friends?

Yes.  There are two parks

 

• Is there parking?

Yes.  There is a public parking lot.  There are no parking fees

 

• Are there gate fees?

No.  There are no entrance fees for the tournament

 

• Is there a concession?

Yes.  The Spot Sport provides concession services during the tournament
